As an ‘Outstanding’ Alternative Provider we believe we have much to offer other schools and providers in a variety of settings.  We have developed a number of successful initiatives at Westside which we are very happy to share with others across the country.

We frequently welcome colleagues from schools and local authorities who come to Westside to see for themselves how we operate and identify strategies they can take back to their own settings.  Without exception, visitors have indicated how their visits have changed their way of thinking of what can be achieved with even the most challenging of young people.

We also organise an annual conference for Alternative Providers which provides the ideal forum for us all to learn from each other and share best practice.
